H.E Ambassador Edward Sawerengera, in collaboration with Advancing Girls Education Africa (AGE Africa), on Wednesday September 6th, 2017, hosted a reception at the Embassy of the Republic of Malawi in Washington D.C, in honour of Triathletes participating at a forthcoming AGE AFRICA Triathlon fundraiser that will take place on Sunday, September 10th, 2017. The proceeds will be used to fund the school needs for 220 under privileged girls in Malawi.
In his remarks at the reception, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude towards the continued great work and support that AGE Africa continues to undertake in Malawi in support of girl’s education and assured them of his commitment towards the continued success of this organisation.
He also thanked all the triathletes who will be participating at the Triathlon on Sunday, for taking out time to make this event possible, as well as all the family and friends of Malawi who have continuously supported AGE Africa.
