Discover incredible artisanal tea from the Republic of Malawi, Africa and honey from Austin, Texas in the comfort of your own home.
At this fun and free hour-long workshop, you'll relax at home sipping and learning about the science and art of tasting and crafting two incredible crops: Malawi tea and honey from Austin, Texas. Using Two Hives Honey as our guide, we will strengthen your senses and palate as you identify a rainbow of colors and flavors and learn how to better pair honeys with different foods. You’ll gain an appreciation for bees' honey-making process, different floral sources and the resulting honeys, and the methods in which honey can be manipulated after it is pulled from the hive.
Experience the journey from flower to honey and leaf to tea in this mini sommelier-style tasting. Malawi’s Honorary Consul Jordan Price and co-collaborator Tara Chapman will share insider tea and honey secrets to enhance your tasting experience.
How often do you pause, relax, and discover the flavors and aromas--and stories--present in each cup or think about the bees who produced your honey?
The event will take place virtually on Sunday , November 15, 2020 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST. For more details and registration please follow the link below.
